Every StitchQuill price is a flat price per design. It is set by how big the design will be when it is stitched, not by a stitch count that nobody can know until the file is built. The order form works out the same total you see in the tables below, and shows it before you submit anything. Vector art, color separations, print-ready files, format conversions and edits are listed here too.

How embroidery sizes are priced

Size means the finished width or height of the stitched design, whichever is larger. Measure the artwork at the size you want it on the garment, not the size of the image file.

• Small, up to 4.5 in: $14. Left chest logos, cap fronts, sleeve logos, pocket marks, beanie cuffs and most name or text designs.
• Medium, up to 8 in: $24. Larger chest designs, tote bags, towel borders, small back yokes and youth full fronts.
• Large, up to 12 in: $39. Adult full fronts and most jacket back designs.
• Extra large, over 12 in: $55. Big jacket backs and oversized pieces. Designs over 14 inches are quoted, because the work varies too much for one flat number.

A dense design with a lot of fill and a simple text logo of the same size cost the same. We carry that risk, not you.

Embroidery add-ons

• 3D puff: adds $8. The file is built for foam with wider satin columns and closed ends.
• Applique: adds $5, including placement and tack-down stitches.
• Cap version of a flat design: $6, resequenced for a curved front.
• Extra size of the same design: $6 per additional size.
• Patch border: adds $5 for a satin border around the patch edge.
• Chenille: from $45, depending on size and detail.

Vector art and print prices

• Vector redraw: $12 for text and simple shapes, $22 for a typical logo, $38 for detailed illustrations.
• Screen print separations: $25 for up to 4 spot colors, plus $5 for each extra color.
• DTF or DTG print-ready file: $15.
• Embroidery file conversion: $5 per file.
• Edits to an existing stitch file: from $10.

What every price includes

• Every machine format you ask for: DST, PES, EXP, JEF, VP3, XXX, HUS and VIP, with PXF and EMB or ART working files on request.
• A PDF worksheet with the stitch count, finished size and color sequence.
• A stitch simulation proof in your dashboard before you pay.
• Unlimited revisions until you approve.
• Free minor edits for 30 days after delivery, such as a color change, a small text correction or a density tweak.
• Your files saved in your dashboard for re-orders.
• Our sew-out guarantee.

Turnaround and rush fees

Standard delivery is within 24 hours at no extra cost. Rush delivery within 12 hours adds $5, and express delivery within 6 hours adds $10. The clock starts when you place the order, or when you accept a quote. The turnaround page explains how timing works.

Your first design is free

New accounts get their first design free, up to $24 of design value. That covers a small or medium design in full, and larger designs get that amount off. One per customer or business, rush fees still apply, and no card is needed to place it. Read the full terms on the free first design page.

Payment: after the proof, by PayPal, bank payment or credits

Nothing is charged when you place an order. You pay only after you have seen the proof and approved it. Pay with PayPal, or with prepaid credits from your balance. PayPal also takes credit and debit cards. With PayPal or credits your files are ready to download the moment payment goes through. With a bank payment they are released as soon as we see the money arrive. Either way, an invoice is saved in your dashboard.

Credit packs for shops

If you order often, a credit pack gives you more design value than you pay for. Buy a pack once, and every order you approve is paid from your balance with one click.

Credits do not expire. An unused credit pack can be refunded within 30 days of purchase, as long as none of the credit has been used. Regular shops can also ask for weekly invoicing, so approved orders are billed together once a week. See how shops use these on digitizing for embroidery shops.

Cheap digitizing or affordable digitizing: an honest answer

People search for cheap digitizing because they have been burned by bills that grew after the order, or because the margin on a dozen polos is thin. We understand both. We are not the cheapest digitizer you will find, and we do not try to be. Our aim is affordable embroidery digitizing services with fair flat prices, where the number you see is the number you pay.

Very low prices usually come from one of three places: auto-digitizing software with little human cleanup, charges added later for revisions or extra formats, or per-stitch billing that lands higher than expected. A file that saves a few dollars but breaks thread, puckers or needs a second sew-out costs more in blanks, thread and machine time than it saved.

How our prices compare in general terms

Many digitizers price by the thousand stitches, which means you only find out the real cost once the file exists. Others quote every job by email. Flat size pricing sits in the middle of the market on price, and above it on predictability: you know the cost before you order, every format is included, and you do not pay until the proof is right.
