What free embroidery digitizing on your first order covers
Your first design is free up to $24 of design value. In practice that covers any small design up to 4.5 inches, such as a left chest logo, a cap front or sleeve text, and any medium design up to 8 inches. Those are the sizes most people need first, so for most new accounts the first order costs nothing at all.
If your first design is worth more, for example a large jacket back or a design with add-ons, the $24 comes off the total and you pay only the difference, after you approve the proof. The full price list is on the pricing page.
The free design is a normal order in every other way. It includes:
- A file built by hand by one of our digitizers, not auto-converted.
- Every machine format you ask for, such as DST, PES, EXP, JEF and VP3.
- A stitch simulation proof and a PDF worksheet with the stitch count, size and color sequence.
- Unlimited revisions until you approve.
- Free minor edits for 30 days after delivery, and our sew-out guarantee.
The rules, in plain terms
- New accounts only. The offer applies to the first order on a new account.
- One per customer or business. A shop with several staff members gets one free design, not one per person or email address.
- Up to $24 of design value. Larger designs get that amount off.
- Turnaround fees still apply. Standard delivery within 24 hours is free. If you choose rush ($5) or express ($10), that fee is charged after you approve.
- No card needed. You place the order without any payment details. If nothing is owed, you never enter any.
How to claim your free first design
- Open the order form and create your account as part of the order. It takes an email address and a password.
- Upload your artwork. JPG, PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, PSD or a ZIP of several files all work.
- Enter the details: finished size, placement, fabric, machine formats and turnaround. The form shows the free amount applied to your total before you submit.
- Check your proof. It appears in your dashboard and we email you. Ask for any changes you want.
- Approve and download. If the design was fully covered, your files are ready straight away. If there is a difference to pay, pay it by PayPal, card or bank payment and download.
A free digitizing trial with a real file
Most digitizers ask you to trust their samples. We would rather you judge a real file, made from your own artwork, on your own machine and fabric. That is why the offer is a full order rather than a watered-down sample: a free digitizing trial only means something if the file is the same one you would get when you pay.
For embroidery shops, it is a low-risk way to test a new digitizer on a live job before moving regular work over. For home embroiderers and Etsy sellers, it is a chance to see how a hand-digitized file compares with an auto-converted one. Either way, if the file does not sew cleanly on the machine and fabric you named in the order, the guarantee applies exactly as it does for paid work.
Why we offer it
Choosing a digitizer is mostly a question of trust, and trust is hard to earn from a web page. We cannot show you invented reviews or customer counts, and we will not. What to send for the best result
The clearer the artwork, the better the first file. A vector logo or a sharp, high resolution image is ideal. Tell us the exact finished size in inches, where it will go and what it will be stitched on, because a cap front, a polo and a towel all need different underlay and density. After your free design
